Dubai’s Groundbreaking Space Mission Sets New Milestones: UAE’s First Astronaut Achieves Historic Success

Dubai: Dubai Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum said that the country is ready for a new space mission. The announcement came after Sutan Al Neyadi returned to the country after successfully completing a six-month long space mission. He said Neyadi’s space flight marked a milestone in the space history of the UAE and the Arab world.

At the UAE Space Centre, Mohammed Rashid Space Centre, astronaut Sultan Al Neyadi was speaking after meeting with the Mission 2 team. Sheikh Hamdan personally met the UAE’s first astronaut Hessa Al Mansouri and Sultan Al Neyadi and congratulated them. Zayed addressed the team leading the space missions, which are being implemented with the aim of fulfilling the dreams of the UAE Father of the Nation, Sheikh Zayed.

Sheikh Hamdan is the chairman of Mohammed Rashid Space Centre. Sheikh Hamdan also clarified that the UAE is ready to undertake any space mission with the aim of supporting humanitarian activities and scientific missions around the world. Sultan Al Neyadi returned to Dubai after successfully completing the space mission on September 4.
