Dubai> The 28th Dubai Shopping Festival kicked off today. This year the fair will last for 46 days till January 29. This time, many prizes like 10 lakh dirhams, one kilo of gold and an apartment in downtown Dubai are attracting customers. The total value of the prizes is about four crore dirhams. World Cup Fan Fest has also been arranged this year to complement the shopping festival. Leading jewellers, Malabar Gold and Joy Alukas, have come forward to offer 25 kg of gold jewelery to lucky winners at the Dubai Shopping Festival. Winners will be selected via a coupon provided with purchase of AED 500 worth of gold, diamond or gemstone jewellery.
Raffle coupons are available at all Malabar Gold outlets in the UAE and all Dubai Jewelery Group shops. Four winners will be awarded one kilogram of gold in the raffle draw held on alternate days. 12 winners of MegaDraw will get 3 kg of gold. Joy Alukas and 4 kg gold on alternate days and 3 kg gold to 12 people in Megadro are similarly given. All Joy Alukas outlets in Dubai will receive a raffle coupon with purchase. Malabar Gold International Operations Manager Shamlal Ahmed and Joy Alukas Group Managing Director John Paul Alukas said that such bumper offers are part of an effort to make the shopping festival the best it can be.
