Dubai: The Dubai Police Traffic Patrol Division seized 36 vehicles that had committed various violations. So many vehicles were seized in two days. Violations found include reckless driving endangering one’s own life or the lives of others, altering the vehicle’s engine or appearance, disturbing residents, affixing obscure number plates and littering on public roads.
Colonel Al Qaidi said that according to the order of 2023, the police will strictly deal with such law violations. If the vehicle is impounded, the fine for releasing these can be up to Dh50,000. He pointed out that those found endangering lives or destroying roads would face heavy fines, impoundment of vehicles and imprisonment. Violations can be reported through the ‘Police Eye’ service on the Dubai Police app or by calling 901.

According to the National Labor Observatory report, the number of citizens earning more than 20,000 riyals increased by 139 percent during the same period. That is, the number of Swadeshi employees in this category was 84,700 in 2018 and increased to 2,02,700 this year.
