Dubai Police Launches HR Platform to Enhance Security and Awareness

His Excellency Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, inaugurated the first phase of the General Department of Mobile Human Resources “HUB” HR platform, which aims to spread security and police awareness and marketing of Dubai Police programs and services and enhance the sense of security for external audiences.

His Excellency Lieutenant General Abdullah Al-Marri praised the efforts of the General Department of Human Resources in achieving the indicators of the Dubai Police General Command and the efforts exerted in developing new mechanisms and programs that contribute to supporting the security work system by attracting qualified cadres, empowering them and involving them in making decisions that would achieve leadership and excellence.

This came during his visit to the General Administration of Human Resources, as part of the annual inspection program for departments and police stations, in the presence of Major General Ahmed Muhammad Rafi, Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Administration Affairs, Major General Dr. Saleh Abdullah Murad, Director of the General Administration of Human Resources, and Brigadier General Dr. Saleh Al Hamrani, Deputy Director of the General Department for Excellence and Leadership, Brigadier General Rashid Nasser, Deputy Director of the General Department of Human Resources, Colonel Ahmed Muhammad Al Muhairi, Acting Director of the Oversight and Inspection Department, Lieutenant Colonel Dr. Abdul Razzaq Abdul Rahim, Head of the Inspection Department, and a number of directors of sub-departments and heads of departments.

Major Nawaf Ahli, Director of the Human Resources Planning Department, reviewed the strategic plan for human resources 2021-2026, and the future and forward-looking projects and initiatives of the General Administration of Human Resources, the most important of which is the study of forecasting in workforce planning, in addition to the development of existing programs, including the happiness and quality of life strategy, and the platform Dispatches for university students and scholarships, the “GPT” gap program, and the “Irtikaz” project.

His Excellency Lieutenant General Al-Marri and the audience from Captain Dr. Butti bin Mejren, Head of the Paths and Job Titles Department, listened to an explanation regarding the gap program, which is concerned with identifying leadership competencies, through the use of “GPT” technology, analysis, planning and decision-making support, in addition to its support for Dubai Police’s strategy to keep pace with government directions. .

His Excellency also reviewed the programs and initiatives implemented by the General Directorate of Human Resources during the past period, and discussed with the Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Administration Affairs and the Director of the General Directorate of Human Resources and sub-managers the application of best practices in human resources management to achieve more leadership.
