The organizers confirmed the date of the seventh session of the Dubai Fitness Challenge 2023, the sports initiative launched by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council, scheduled for the period from October 28 to November 26.

A press release issued yesterday said that the “Dubai Cycling Challenge” this year will be held on Sunday, November 12, while the “Dubai Running Challenge” will start on the closing day of the Dubai Fitness Challenge on November 26, as the two events will provide an opportunity for families and cycling and running enthusiasts. And physical fitness in general, to have a unique experience by participating and competing in an enjoyable atmosphere among the most prominent and famous landmarks on Sheikh Zayed Road.

Details of the various and distinct events agenda for this season will be announced in the coming weeks, and how to register and participate in the challenge.

It is noteworthy that the “Dubai Fitness Challenge” encourages Dubai residents and visitors to follow a more active lifestyle, by committing to practicing 30 minutes of activity per day over a period of 30 days, through a variety of distinct sporting events and activities.

Since its inception in 2017, the Dubai Fitness Challenge has contributed to strengthening the infrastructure and sports facilities across the city, and urging community members of all nationalities to adopt a healthier and more active lifestyle.

Last year’s session witnessed the achievement of a record number of participants, amounting to 2.2 million participants, as the main events held on Sheikh Zayed Road attracted about 35,000 cyclists in the “Dubai Cycling Challenge” and 193,000 runners in the “Dubai Running Challenge”.
