Dubai Committee delights 14,000 workers with music, gifts and gifts

The Permanent Committee for Labor Affairs in Dubai organized a recreational initiative, targeting 14,000 workers who live in labor camps in Al Quoz and its surroundings, as part of its efforts and social responsibilities towards workers, in the presence of Abdullah Lashkri Mohammed, Secretary General of the Committee, its members and employees.

The initiative program included a package of recreational activities, which revived musical bands and folklore groups with concerts that lasted for two consecutive days, in addition to distributing about 12,000 meals, supervising the organization of free examination for workers, and about 1,000 souvenirs.

Major General Obaid Muhair bin Suroor, Deputy Director of the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai, and Chairman of the Committee, said, “This initiative comes within the framework of the social responsibility through which we seek to organize events and recreational activities, with the aim of making workers happy, and moving them from the atmosphere of daily work to an atmosphere of happiness. The Emirate of Dubai cares about workers and is keen to take care of their rights, in line with the Emirati national spirit, whose principles are derived from the values ​​of tolerance inherited by generations, so that the UAE will be a model for labor affairs related to the protection and care of workers, preserving their rights, and providing them with a decent life.

Abdullah sent to Shukri Muhammad, awareness and motivational messages to the workers and expressions of thanks for their efforts and dedication to work. He also thanked the team of the Standing Committee and the logistic partners for their efforts and continuous support, which had a great impact on the success of the initiative.
