Dubai Chambers signs MoU with Industrial Bank of China

Dubai Chamber has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, Dubai Branch (Dubai International Financial Centre) to improve the framework for cooperation and joint work. Strengthen support for companies and businesspeople in Dubai and China.
The MoU was signed by Mohammed Ali Rashid Lootah, Director General of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce, and Luo Wei, General Manager of the Dubai Branch of Industrial and Commercial Bank of China Limited (DIFC) at the Dubai Chamber of Commerce headquarters.
The MoU establishes a broad and diverse partnership between the two parties, with the Chamber of Commerce committed to providing support to banking clients doing business in Dubai, with a focus on supporting the interests of the Dubai and Chinese business communities, strengthening joint work between companies, and bilateral trade and investment relations.
The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding coincides with the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the UAE and China, and will help promote the growing trade and investment activities between Dubai and China and consolidate Dubai’s investment attractiveness to Chinese investors.
Prior to the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Dubai Chamber and the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, Dubai Branch (Dubai International Financial Centre), the Dubai Chamber of Commerce held the China Dubai Business Forum in Beijing. Potential Chinese companies will settle in Dubai, supporting Chinese companies to benefit from the regional and global growth opportunities provided by the emirate of Dubai.
