Dubai: Dubai is preparing to develop a satellite with the cooperation of the United Nations Space Department. In this regard, the Crown Prince of Dubai gave instructions to the Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Center. The action is a part of taking stronger steps in the field of space.

The construction of a new satellite in collaboration with the UN agency will soon become a reality. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the UAE Executive Council and Crown Prince of Dubai, released this information through X. The aim is to support countries and organizations that want to work together for space research. PHI-2 will be the second satellite to be built by Dubai. Sheikh Hamdan said that Dubai’s goal is to support any innovative idea that improves the quality of human life.

MBRSC held a meeting under the chairmanship of Sheikh Hamdan last week. The meeting also prepared an outline for the future of the UAE’s space mission. The UAE space mission will witness major changes in the field of entrepreneurship. Sheikh Hamdan also held discussions with UAE astronauts Muhammad Al Mulla and Noor Al Matrushi.
