“It was a joint decision to end the journey following this season. I am grateful for every day that I was able to work for SV Guntamatic Ried. We went through wonderful moments together, but of course also difficult situations.” SV Ried managing director Rainer Wöllinger was quoted in a broadcast from the second division club in mid-March. The collaboration ends at the end of the season following around three and a half years.
His successor as Managing Director for Economic Affairs will be Thomas Ohrhallinger from Suben. Most recently, Ohrhallinger worked as area manager for sales at Zehnder Österreich GmbH. In 2018, the 40-year-old completed his master’s degree in “MSc Commercial Management”. “Thomas Ohrhallinger brings extensive experience in the areas of corporate development and sales. He will significantly advance the club’s organizational development,” says SVR President Thomas Gahleitner. “I see my main task as ensuring that the economic area of SV Ried runs in a regulated manner so that the board and the sports management have their backs free to concentrate on their tasks,” emphasizes Ohrhallinger, who announced that the SVR employees in to include the decision-making processes.
More competencies for Fiala
The dual leadership in the management is completed by the previous sports director, Wolfgang Fiala. The 36-year-old signed a contract as sports director this week. Fiala receives extensive expertise in sporting matters. “We have come to know and appreciate Wolfgang Fiala’s work over the past few years and have full confidence in him,” says Gahleitner.
Ried welcomes Amstetten
SV Ried will play at home tomorrow (6:10 p.m.) once morest bottom-placed Amstetten. The people of Innviertel want to achieve their fourth win in a row and secure second place in the table. Belmin Beganovic might return to the squad following his muscle injury. The Young Vikings will host the WAC amateurs in the relegation battle on Saturday (3 p.m.). The game will be played in the Innviertel Arena.
