A first image from the spy film “Argylle” has been released, and we can see Henry Cavill and Dua Lipa slow dancing in their respective roles, dressed very elegantly.
This thriller will be released next year on Apple TV+. This is an adaptation of the novel by Ellie Conway, which has not yet appeared.
The cast will include Henry Cavill, Dua Lipa, as well as Bryce Dallas Howard, Sam Rockwell, Bryan Cranston, Catherine O’Hara, Ariana DeBose, John Cena and Samuel L. Jackson.
According to a press release, the film “follows the adventures of a super-spy named Argylle across the globe.”
Matthew Vaughn is directing and the screenplay was written by Jason Fuchs (Wonder Woman). The feature is produced by Marv and regular collaborators Matthew Vaughn, Adam Bohling and David Reid, as well as Jason Fuchs. Zygi Kamasa, Carlos Peres, Claudia Vaughn, and Adam Fischbach will serve as executive producers.
“When I read the first script” declared the director in a press release. “I thought it was the most amazing and original script I’ve ever read since Ian Fleming’s books in the 1950s. It’s going to reinvent the spy genre.”
