The police had to wait for the arrival of the firefighters to gain access to their vehicle. The driver-launcher of the reptile was arrested and then placed in police custody.
The scene is unusual. On the evening of Friday, February 10, route de Paris, in Amiens, a national police patrol is preparing to check a motorist. When officials approach the Ford brand vehicle, the driver, visibly drunk, does not seem in the best of moods. Against all odds, he is in possession of a snake whose exact species is unknown.
He then threw the animal, of a fairly large size, inside the police car “to escape control”, tells us a police source, contacted this Thursday, February 16.
Sobering up cell
The police had come out at that precise moment and no one was injured or bitten. Problem, they might not access their vehicle, they had to wait for the arrival of the firefighters who took care of the animal.
Aged 50, the driver-thrower of reptile was finally arrested by the police who took him to the central police station. He was placed in police custody for violence with… a weapon and driving under the influence of an alcoholic empire following going through the drunk cell box.
It is not known at this stage what legal action has been taken in this case.
