‘Drunk driving’ Kim Sae-ron’s handwritten apology… “I will be disappointed, I will reflect and reflect again”

Actor Kim Sae-ron (22) apologized directly one day following being caught drunk driving.

Kim Sae-ron posted a handwritten apology on Instagram on the 19th, saying, “I am sorry to inform you of my position late following arranging the accident and damage situation first.”

He continued, “Yesterday (18th) around 8 am in Gangnam, there was an accident that damaged public property. At the time, I made a big mistake while drinking.

With my wrong judgment and actions, I have caused damage to so many people, including merchants, citizens, and restoration workers. We sincerely apologize,” he said.

In addition, Kim Sae-ron said, “The damage caused by the accident is being dealt with with the company, and we will do our best to communicate and actively solve it until the end. I am very sorry to my fellow actors and staff, as well as the production team, for the disruption to the production of the work that was being filmed and the work that was being prepared. Once once more, we deeply apologize and apologize for causing concern.”

Finally, he said, “I have no excuses for this unfortunate incident, and I am disappointed and very ashamed of the mistakes I have made. I will reflect deeply and reflect on it so that this does not happen once more. I’m sorry.” He bowed his head once more.

The Gangnam Police Station in Seoul booked Kim Sae-ron on charges of violating the Road Traffic Act on the 18th. Kim Sae-ron, while driving a black SUV, crashed into a guard rail, a transformer, and a street tree several times on the same day. In this accident, the transformer was damaged, and electricity was temporarily cut off in four shopping malls and street lights in the neighboring buildings, and restoration work was carried out.

On the 19th, the day following the accident, Kim Sae-ron’s agency Gold Medalist said, “Kim Sae-ron is deeply reflecting on her mistakes. In addition, Kim Sae-ron sincerely apologizes to the many people who have suffered damage and inconvenience and to all those who are working hard to restore the damaged public facilities, and promised to do her best to repair the damage.”
