Moroccan health authorities said on Tuesday that drugs prescribed under the national therapeutic protocol for the management of COVID-19 cases are available in sufficient quantities to meet demand.
In a statement, the Ministry of Health indicated that the drugs of the national therapeutic protocol for the management of cases of new coronavirus are available in sufficient quantity, citing in particular chloroquine, azithromycin, zinc, vitamin C, vitamin D, paracetamol and heparin.
The announcement follows rumors circulating on some media and social networks that drugs prescribed for COVID-19 are experiencing excessive shortage or out of stock in pharmacies.
Regarding vaccination, the ministry noted that the number of people who received the first dose of vaccine is 24,598,327, while those fully vaccinated are 22,983,581, 3,540,594 having received the third dose.
