News JVTech Dropping an iPhone from 4267 meters high, that’s what it looks like

Breaking your iPhone by dropping it is nerd. But having it fall several thousand meters is rare. What is even rarer is the state in which this iPhone ends, having fallen from the pocket of a parachute jumper.
An iPhone that fell from a plane finished in one piece
If you are someone who is a bit airheaded, you may happen to drop your smartphone. That’s when the shivers appear, the voltage rises before checking whether the screen or the rest of the phone is intact or not.
It happens to subject his iPhone to a major shock and that it ends up without the slightest impact. And sometimes, a simple little fall of a few tens of centimeters in the wrong position is enough to seriously injure him. Almost unfair situations, but with which we have to live. It’s all regarding luck, and that’s the case for this man, who jumped out of a plane with his iPhone in his pocket.
You always have your smartphone on you, no matter the situation and the place. But it happens that certain contexts require to separate from it, like the day when you parachute several kilometers from the ground for example. In a TikTok video shared by a certain capt_rumcoffee, a group of skydivers looking quite experienced (they jump alone and not attached to someone) can be seen soaring through the air in search of thrills.
But one of them forgot a small detail: his iPhone in his pocket who takes pleasure in extricating himself from the first second of the jump. We can clearly see the smartphone packing up, thinking it’s over for him. How might it withstand a fall of 14,000 feet, or 4267 meters?
It’s a small miracle that we can see in the rest of the video. The acrobats landed in a marshy area. The first impressive thing is already to have found the iPhone on the ground. The second is that he ended his fall in very soft ground, which greatly limited the impact. When the iPhone is out of its hole, we notice a very imposing protective shell as well as a glass pane for the screen.
After taking it in hand, the screen lights up as if nothing had happened. Completely unusual this story, I say.
The case that changes everything?
In the comments to the video, a number of impressed people can be seen, along with others asking the brand of the protective shell. The creator of the video responds: Catalyst.
The hull brand does not respond to my email. Let’s buzz this video so we can advertise them.
This video is therefore not an advertisement. On the Catalyst site, various cases are sold for iPhone, AirPods, Apple Watch, AirTag… focusing on the waterproof aspect of the devices. Not sure that the hull has necessarily changed everything in the history of the parachutist, but who knows…
