Dropped down! Microsoft Outlook, Teams and Xbox Live go offline after “crash”

Several Microsoft services were offline around the world on Wednesday (25). The “outage” has affected platforms such as Teams, the Outlook email service and also Xbox Live Go.

According to the company, “network configuration problems” ended up causing the drop in services during the night. Microsoft also claims that it has already “isolated” the flaw.

We are analyzing the best mitigation strategy [do problema] to solve it without causing further impacts.

The Azure Status page showed that services were affected in the Americas, Asia Pacific, the Middle East, and also Africa. China was the only country that did not experience problems.

Microsoft has not yet released the number of users affected by the outage, but data from the Downdetector website show thousands of incidents distributed across continents.

The problem will most likely affect the opening of many companies, but everything indicates that the situation should normalize throughout this morning.
