Tel Aviv: Hezbollah launched a drone attack on a building in the Israeli city of Herzliya. The building was damaged, but no injuries were reported, the Israel Defense Forces said. One of the two drones sent from Lebanon hit the building. Vigilance was announced in the area following the incident.
International media reports that the drone attack took place on a retirement home on Yom Kippur. The attack reportedly caused a fire and power outage in some areas. The fire brigade arrived and extinguished the fire.
At the same time, Hizbullah leader Mohammad Afif said that the attack on the northern areas of Israel will intensify. Heavy fighting between the two groups has been taking place in southern Lebanon, Beirut and the Bekaa for the past few weeks. Hezbollah intensified its rocket attacks after Israeli forces advanced into more areas of southern Lebanon. Afif said that what happened in Tel Aviv was only the beginning and that Israel saw only a small part of the war.
” is saying something to the enemies. You have only seen one side of our attack so far. Hezbollah’s most important collection remains undamaged. Hezbollah’s fighters are still at their best. The priority now is to defeat the enemy and force them to stop attacking. Therefore, Hizbollah welcomes proposals to stop attacks if they are compatible with our conditions” – said Afif.
