The Meteorological Department says that rain with thunder and lightning is expected in Karachi and other cities of Sindh from the western wind system.

According to the Meteorological Department, the western wind system will pass through Balochistan and enter Karachi this evening. The rain will start in the city from Thursday morning.

Along with the rain, the wind intensity will also be high and there is also a possibility of thunderstorms. The Meteorological Department said that heavy rainfall is likely to occur in the western, northwestern and southern regions of the city, including Sarjani Town, Baldia, Lyari, Orangi Town, Kemari, DHA, Sadar and Clifton.

While Sardar Sarfaraz says that there is a possibility of 15 to 40 mm of rain in Karachi, under this system, the rain will not be so much in Sindh including Karachi. causing heavy rains.

It is clear that yesterday in the advisory from the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA), it was said that after the westerly winds entered Southwest Balochistan, the Karachi Division under the influence of this system will be affected on the night of April 17 and 18. Light to moderate intensity thundershowers and heavy rains are expected in April.

PDMA also said that under the influence of this system on April 18 in Jamshoro, Dadu, Nowshera Feroze, Hydabad, Dadu, Matiari, Tando Muhammad Khan, Tandwala Yar, Thatta, Sajawal, Badin, Mirpurkhas, Umarkot districts. It will rain.
