The events occurred on the old road to Horcón between a private car and a police patrol.
The latter was in a procedure, which collided with a car driven by a woman, who worked at Cesfam Ventanas.
This information was provided by the commander of Firemen from the commune of Puchuncaví, Christian Villalón, who specified that two units participated in the emergency.
“When the Firefighters were working, they went on strike, the corresponding maneuvers were carried out, health personnel arrived and worked on the spot, which they died on the spot,” Villalón said.
To this he added that “two carabineros were in the police vehicle, which resulted in medium-severity injuries.”
Regarding the foregoing, he asserted that the two police officers who presented injuries were transferred to the Quintero Hospital, and were later sent to the Naval Hospital.
As for the causes of the fatal accident that ended with this woman deceased, he specified that it remains under investigation.
