A fatal accident occurred on November 27, 2023, around 10 p.m. on the Front de terre road near Rond-point Capa.
The tragedy involves a Huster brand vehicle, a type of lifting machine without registration, belonging to the company Abass Attal and driven by the name K. Ndiaye. The vehicle was traveling in the direction of Echangeur Hann Pont Hann.

When descending this bridge, Libération reports, the driver lost control of the machine which violently hit the guardrails. Ejected from the cabin by the violence of the impact, K. Ndiaye was killed instantly when the vehicle fell on his body.
