Russian nutritionist and gastroenterologist Nuria Dianova stressed the need to drink water in the morning on an empty stomach because of its health benefits, but on one condition.
She said: “A glass of water in the morning on an empty stomach is a really useful habit, as the body wakes up. To start all operations, to work the stomach clearly on time, to improve the psychological state, in addition to stimulating intestinal motility.”
The specialist specified a condition for drinking water, provided that it be of a certain temperature. She added: «The water should be room temperature, not cold, especially if the person suffers from constipation. This is what regarding 80% of the urban population suffers from. And if there are abdominal pains, the water should be warmer,” according to “Sputnik”.
