Dresden: Medical students oppose corona demo | Regional

Dresden – Medical students stood protectively in front of the Dresden University Hospital on Thursday, the aim of a protest once morest the Corona measures.

The students in white coats had lined up in front of the hospital. They carried signs with inscriptions like “Vaccinate instead of scolding” and “No power to the ruthless.”

The police were on site with an immense contingent of eight hundred from Saxony, Thuringia, Berlin and the federal police. 200 officers were assigned to insure the hospital. Two water cannons and a clearing armor were also in use.

The protest once morest the corona measures was called on the social networks. The situation remained largely calm.

“The planned longer walk might be prevented,” said the police. “We are constantly repositioning our emergency services and staying mobile in order to prevent a collected unauthorized elevator.”

The officials drew attention to the Saxon corona emergency ordinance in loudspeaker announcements. Accordingly, only demonstrations with a maximum of ten participants are currently permitted.

Groups of up to 50 people kept gathering around the university hospital. The police asked you to move on. Some of the personal details were established.
