DRC: Denise Nyakeru salutes female entrepreneurship and encourages the empowerment of Congolese women

By Simeon Isako

It is at the Chapiteau du Pullman in the commune of Gombe that the women’s village was set up.
Composed of nearly 100 (one hundred) stands, Le village de la femme has highlighted the sense of entrepreneurship of Congolese women in fields as varied as they are vast, in particular: textile cosmetics, hair care, food products, etc.
The First Lady of the DRC, who makes women’s empowerment one of the axes of her foundation, went to the women’s village to encourage these women who have specialized mainly in the processing of products.

According to the initiator of this village Irma Kisombe Kukela, the objective is to make known the different creativities of women to the general public.
The women’s village received 814 requests this year but only 97 were accepted.
Registrations are posted on the networks.
