Since various days, Kevin Durant and Draymond Green seem to be engaged in a cold war, made of rather pungent declarations… Before Game 3 of the Finals, the interior of the Warriors gave a layer of it with a rather contemptuous sentence on his former teammate.
Draymond Green and Kevin Durant were part of one of the best teams of all time at Golden State, their games matched perfectly, and yet they don’t seem to get along particularly well, despite this beautiful and prestigious shared history. Rumor has it, for example, that the interior of the Warriors would be the reason behind the departure of KD for Brooklyn in 2019…
If relations remain cordial today, the two champions do not however show an ounce of complicity, quite the contrary. A few days ago, Draymond took pleasure in discredit the passage of his former teammate in the Baysaying that his two Finals MVP titles were mainly the result of the work of Stephen Curry, who focused the attention of opponents with his outward address. An opinion obviously contested by the principal concerned.
Draymond Green has better things to do with his life than talk about KD
Passing in front of the media this Tuesday, for an exciting press conference before Game 3 of these Finals against the Celtics, the name of Kevin Durant is once again returned in the mouth of Draymond Green, and not necessarily in glowing terms. The statement is not necessarily ill-intentioned, but the choice of words is still quite pungent towards the Nets’ No. 7.
Before I start, I just saw your name (Tomer Azarly from the ClutchPoints site, editor’s note), and I want to tell you that I saw your tweets yesterday or before yesterday, when you mentioned that I was asked a question on Kevin Durant and that’s why I talked about him at the press conference… I sincerely want to thank you for your honesty and congratulate you for the passion you put into your work.
