Draper fights back to beat Tsitsipas in Cincinnati

British number one Jack Draper fought back from a set down to defeat Stefanos Tsitsipas to reach the third round of the Cincinnati Open.

World No. 11 Tsitsipas broke serve at 5-4 in the deciding set, but Draper scored 12 of the final 17 points to win 3-6 6-4 7-5.

“Overall, my grit, determination and attitude won me the match today, so I’m very proud of that,” Draper, ranked No. 28 in the world, said in an on-court interview.

The 22-year-old will next face Norway’s seventh seed Kaspar Ruud or Canada’s Felix Auger-Aliassime.
