An alleged criminal found a terrible way to die following an explosive he was trying to detonate in a business in the city of Guayaquil, Ecuador, exploded in his hands, killing him immediately. The incident was recorded by security cameras.
It happened on Francisco de Orellana Avenue, where minutes before 11:00 pm, the alleged criminal descends from a red car and stands next to a commercial establishment, where he tries to throw an explosive.

The young man proceeds to light what appears to be dynamite, but it exploded in his hands, killing him immediately, while his buddy in the red car fled.
The entire event was captured by a security camera, which recorded the terrible death of the alleged criminal. According to the local media El Telégrafo, the explosive used would be dynamite intended for mining, which would explain its detonating power.
On the other hand, it is known that the owner of the premises had previously received extortion threats, which demanded payment of quotas to let him work in peace. According to El Universal, the deceased criminal would be a minor under 17 years of age, however, the identification of the body is complicated due to the condition in which the body was left.
