A serious accident occurred in the night from Saturday to Sunday around 4 a.m. on the N97 in Havelange, in the province of Namur.
A car with five people in it hit a tree. The driver died and the four passengers were seriously injured. Five ambulances, two SMURs, the medical helicopter from Bra-sur-Lienne and a pumper from the Ciney barracks were deployed on site.
The mayor of Havelange was also present on the scene. The exact circumstances of the accident are not yet known.
