Drama near Liège: a teenager and a man discovered dead, a little girl found safe and sound in the car of the individual

A man was found hanged Friday morning in Plainevaux (Neupré, province of Liège) and the body of a girl was discovered Friday late morning in a path in Ougrée (Liège), indicates the parquet floor of Liège. According to the prosecutor of the King of Liège, the two facts are linked.

The 37-year-old man from Seraing was discovered hanging from a barrier around 8 a.m. Friday in Plainevaux. According to the first elements, he would have killed himself using a belt. In his car, located nearby, was locked a little girl aged two and a half. She was rescued a few minutes later, safe and sound.

At the end of the morning, the body of a female person was discovered in a path along a wood in Ougrée. The cause of death is not yet determined, but the fact is already qualified as intentional homicide.

The two girls are from Anderlecht and had been reported missing since Thursday. According to a Brussels police source close to the case, it would be two sisters. Still according to the same source, the man would have approached the teenager on a social network. He would have offered to go shopping and she would have accepted, deciding to take her little sister. The autopsies of the two bodies must take place on Saturday.
