Drama in Strépry-Bracquegnies: the seriously injured at Jolimont hospital are no longer in mortal danger

A la suite of this morning’s drama in Strépy-Bracquegnies, the injured were distributed among the various hospitals in the region. At the Jolimont hospital, the closest to the scene of the incident, three people, whose life was threatened by the state of the injuries, are still in intensive care but fortunately their vital prognosis is no longer engaged. 10 injured in total saw their vital prognosis engaged.

As for the slightly injured, they were able to return home following being treated, but a psychological unit remains in place to receive the victims and witnesses of the disaster.

The situation is under control at Jolimont Hospital. The staff is upset because everyone knows each other in the region and they have seen sometimes close acquaintances arrive.

The injuries of the people who were brought to the hospital are serious: there is talk of punctured lungs, head trauma, crushed limbs. Despite the shock, the hospital team said they were very united and the emergency was handled perfectly.
