A one-and-a-half-year-old girl died on Sunday in Lochristi, near Ghent, following an accident, indicates the East Flanders prosecutor’s office.
The child moved around 3:00 p.m. on the driveway of the house, in the Dahlialaan. The father of the family, driving his car, was backing up at that time. He did not see the little one on the way and hit her.
The girl died from the shock. The prosecution commissioned an expert.
