Two of the children who were injured following the tragedy that occurred Wednesday morning in a daycare center in Laval have been discharged from the CHU de Sainte-Justine, the hospital confirmed Thursday morning.

After the tragedy on Wednesday morning, the CHU Sainte-Justine teams welcomed four preschool children in need of urgent care and rapid treatment.
“Of these four patients, two have now been discharged from the hospital. The other two patients are still hospitalized and present a state of health whose evolution is rather favorable”, confirmed the hospital to the QMI Agency.

“Faced with this tragedy, hospital employees can also benefit from the employee assistance program. Our thoughts are with the families and the staff of the daycare,” added the CHU Sainte-Justine.
Recall that two children lost their lives on Wednesday, while six others were injured.
The Premier of Quebec, François Legault, must go to the scene of the tragedy at the end of the morning. He will be accompanied by the leaders of the opposition.
