Drama at Wimbledon! She had to scratch, tears flowed

Jasmine Paolini advanced to the Wimbledon quarterfinals following her rival Madison Keys retired in the third set due to an injury.

The beginning of the match was surprising, because following four games Paolini was already leading 4:0. Although Keys started playing better from that moment on, she was unable to catch up with her rival. The Italian won 6:3.

The Italian started an incredible chase and was close to winning. She forced a tie-break, which she lost 6-8.

The third set was the deciding factor. In it, Keys was already leading 5:2, but following one of the exchanges she pulled a muscle in her left leg. With each passing moment, she had more and more trouble moving around the court.

After many minutes of downtime and medical attention, she was unable to finish the match. At 5:5, she had to retire. Tears welled up in her eyes.
