Dragon Age modder brings Inquisition character models to Origins

Dragon Age: Origins may be fantastic (according to some, the best game in the series), but graphically the game is inevitably dated. Inquisition, on the other hand, is still holding on for 8 years. So why not take the best of both worlds?

Modder Lilhunnykt did just that by adding Inquisition character models to Origins. The results are brilliant and amazingly fluid, characters like Alistair, Cullen and Leliana look much better with much more detail and charm in their models.

The first mod of this kind from Lilhunnykt was mod for morrigan, which brought the mesh of her head into Origins. After followed Alistair and Leliana. Next has been updated Zevran, although he received the original appearance, as he is the only one of the four who does not appear in the Inquisition. And now it’s the turn for Cullen, Flemeth and Isabela.

They all come with alternate, younger versions, as the Inquisition takes place 10 years later.

Speaking of which, all of these mods have the added benefit of removing any inconsistencies between face models as the series continues. As the character models improved, BioWare began to add more detail to the faces of the main characters, making them very different from their first appearance. So these mods keep everything intact so Alistair doesn’t suddenly grow cheekbones over the course of the series.
