Dr. Manar Ghanem, member of the Press Center of the Meteorological Authority, revealed the details of the weather conditions expected during the coming period.
Manar Ghanem declared, during the program “Sabah Al-Balad” broadcast on the Sada Al-Balad channel, that the country is affected by an atmospheric depression, located in the west of the country, accompanied by air masses from south from desert areas, and this causes a significant increase in temperatures during the day.
Dr. Manar Ghanem indicated that today, Thursday, is the peak of the increase in temperature values, stressing that these increases are temporary in most governorates of the Republic, emphasizing that the weather is very hot in most of the governorates of the Republic. , including: Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt and southern governorates.
A member of the Meteorological Authority Media Center reported that the current maximum temperature in Greater Cairo will be 5 to 6 degrees higher than its normal average, reaching 36 degrees Celsius in the shade.
She explained that there is an increase in minimum temperatures, since the night temperature reaches 27 degrees Celsius in Greater Cairo and most governorates of the Republic, concluding: There is wind activity that lifts the sand and the dust, and it will greatly affect the western region and several areas of Greater Cairo, and cause significant deterioration and decline in horizontal view.
