Abu Dhabi Emirati astronaut Dr. Sultan Al Neyadi interacted live with Dubai school children from space. Taking a break from his duties at the International Space Station, Dr. Sultan shared his experiences today (Tuesday) in a special long-distance call with the students of Jumeirah College.
The UAE’s newest astronaut arrived at the orbiting science laboratory on Friday, beginning a six-month endeavor. The 41-year-old Dr. is the second Emirati to travel in space following Hassa Al Mansouri’s eight-day stay on the ISS in 2019. Al Neyadi. He was also the first Arab to stay in space for a long time. He took 17 questions from students eager to hear regarding life among the stars.
He said his biggest pastime is floating and it’s amazing. He was replying to the question of eighth year student Sasha Joseph. The question also arose as to what motivated him to become an astronaut.
