This Friday, the Municipality named the Comprehensive Child Health and Development Center located in the El Prado neighborhood “Dr. Eduardo “Teddy” Mc Loughlin ”in recognition of his work and commitment to the public and community health of our town.
The Secretary of Public Health, Alicia Blanpain, said that “starting today this comprehensive development center for children’s health will have his name,” stressing that it is “a space for care, which is what he always broadcast from his place.”
Along these lines, he assured that Teddy “did not limit himself to his profession but gave comprehensive and integrated care to those children who always went to his office,” and that this way of bonding “also manifested it in his life as a militant, as Christian, like father, grandfather and neighbor”.
For his part, Mayor Ricardo Curutchet celebrated that all “in our words we are expressing the love and affection we had for Teddy.”
Regarding this space, he assured that “it is an innovative concept that also synthesizes that spirit and that wood of Teddy”. “We are very proud of his legacy and we know that from some corner he must be watching us, saying that with faith and hope everything is possible,” he highlighted. “This is a small recognition of his career and everything he gave,” concluded the mayor.
His wife, Jolie Quittard, his daughters and grandchildren, municipal officials and neighbors of our town participated in this tribute.
