The DPRK leader inspected tank units of the North Korean army. Official reports report that Kim Jong-un supervised the training competitions for tank crews. This is a kind of Korean version of the Russian tank biathlon.

Distinguished tank crews from large tank formations took part in the competition. When the competition began, the invincible tanks rushed forward in unison, reflecting in their roar the valiant spirit of the tankers, fully charged with a strong fighting will to mercilessly exterminate the enemy.
The first place in the competition was taken by soldiers of the 105th Tank Division, which has a remarkable name – the Seoul Guards Division (remember that Seoul is the capital of South Korea).
In addition to tanks developed back in the middle of the last century, modern models also took part in the maneuvers. They were, so to speak, tested by Kim Jong-un himself.
The tanks are equipped with active protection systems and modern optics, which, according to some experts, are made locally, while others say they are made in China. The rollers and tracks are protected by an additional armored canopy. There are grilles that protect (as far as possible) the side and rear projections of the tank from incoming ATGMs and RPG grenades). At the same time, there are no anti-drone visors on North Korean armored vehicles.
