The collaboration between DPG Media and FC Twente dates back to the early 1990s. Subsequently, there have been numerous initiatives, from activations on the FC Twente Open Day and campaigns via DPG Media titles, to broadcasting practice matches via the website of DPG Media titles such as Tubantia. This media partnership will be given a new boost, increasing the visibility of DPG Media at home games in De Grolsch Veste stadium, including with signs and screens on and along the field.
Both parties say they are ‘actively seeking connections with the Twente region, which has led to the devising and launching of successful campaigns.’ This collaboration offers opportunities to develop impactful campaigns locally, regionally and nationally. DPG Media and FC Twente will focus on promotions and packages for supporters and sponsors in the coming years. The parties also want to pay extra attention to important moments surrounding the club, such as the upcoming 60th anniversary and sporting achievements of both the men’s and women’s teams of FC Twente.

We are therefore very proud that we can extend this partnership,” says Michael Meuleners, Partnership Manager at DPG Media. ‘It offers us the opportunity to realize great campaigns together with numerous companies from the Twente region. But we have also collaborated more intensively recently in the field of content creation, such as when broadcasting live sports matches via Tubantia.’
