Dozens of Marvin Gaye recordings found in Belgium

A new Marvin Gaye album?

We’ll see if we will ever be able to listen to the songs until now remained unknown to the general public.

According to Belgian law, a good received or even stolen belongs to you after 30 years. But this legislation does not apply not intellectual property.

This publication right therefore currently belongs to the heirs of Marvin Gaye… Heirs who do not have access to the physical media, held by the Dumolin family. In short, it is a legal puzzle which is coming and which will, perhaps, go through justice.

For Alex Trappeniers, it is obvious that this collection will benefit both families. “If we work together and find the right people, like Mark Ronson or Bruno Mars… I’m not here to make suggestions, but to say, ‘Okay, let’s listen to this and make the next album.'”

Let’s wait and see…
