Sacherie Capron finds itself faced with competition from foreign products, manufactured at a cost four to five times lower, and must adjust its strategy. Josiane Capron described this delicate situation in 2014 during an interview with Martinique la 1ère: “We are faced with the need to preserve our 38 employees, to maintain our production equipment as it is, to make investments, to pay salaries in line with European standards. It is essential not to suffer from the onslaught of competition on all these fronts.“

According to one of its members, AMPI held its Annual General Meeting on October 18, and should obviously renew its bodies and its office shortly.
