The Dow Jones futures fell more than 100 points, suggesting Wall Street will continue its decline tonight from yesterday.
As of 6:08 p.m. Thai time, the Dow Jones futures dropped 175 points or 0.52% to 33,211 points.
US stocks rebounded in early trading yesterday. Responding to the Producer Price Index (PPI), which indicates US inflation has peaked.
However, the Dow closed down more than 600 points as weak US retail sales raised investor concerns regarding a recession.
Markets were also pressured by several Federal Reserve officials voicing support for the Fed to continue raising interest rates to curb inflation.
Investors will continue to keep an eye on listed company earnings releases and US economic numbers. as well as statements by Fed officials to indicate the direction of the Fed rate.
