The Dow closed up 575.77 points, while WTI oil rose 98 cents, gold hit $1,857.30 an ounce.

The atmosphere of investing in the US stock market last night (27 May), the Dow closed higher. After the US personal consumption expenditure (PCE) price index, the US inflation has reached its highest level.

This will allow the US Federal Reserve (Fed) to delay raising interest rates to prevent the economy from entering a recession.

The Dow closed at 33,212.96, up 575.77, or +1.76%.
The Nasdaq closed at 12,131.13, up 390.48, or +3.33%.
The S&P500 closed at 4,158.24 points, up 100.40 points, or +2.47%.

While West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures in New York closed higher on Friday. This was driven by tight oil volumes. And the trend of higher oil demand this weekend, due to Memorial Day, a holiday in the United States on Monday, May 30.

WTI crude oil contract for delivery in July It was up 98 cents, or 0.9%, at $115.07 a barrel.

Brent crude oil contract (BRENT) for delivery in July. It was up $2.03, or 1.7%, at $119.43 a barrel.

The COMEX (Commodity Exchange) gold contract will be delivered in August. Up $3.40 or 0.18% to close at $1,857.30/ounce.
