This Sunday marks the last day of the Dour Festival. Until the site closes its doors following the departure of the last festival-goers on Monday, the police teams remain massively mobilized to ensure the security of the event. This Saturday, 56,400 entries were counted by the teams, who also noted that the traffic was much more fluid than this Friday, although some traffic jams were to be noted.
As for the road system planned for the evening of Saturday, coordinated by the Boraine police zone, customs and the tax control brigade of the Walloon Region, 171 vehicles and two buses were checked. 23 driving under the influence (9 narcotics, 13 alcoholemia) were counted. 16 permits were withdrawn for a period of 15 days, four vehicles were immobilized and 6 vehicles removed. 26 driving minutes were drawn up and 4 immediate collections claimed.

15 court reports were drawn up. In terms of drugs, 50.13 grams of marihuana were seized, along with 10 grams of cocaine, 174 XTC pills, 0.2 grams of ketamine, 0.18 grams of XTC, seven joints and two weapons. 2600 euros were paid for possession of narcotics. The tax department recovered 14,874 euros and customs 7,191 euros.
It should also be noted that this Saturday evening, an operation “wasstraat” was carried out in order to fight once morest narcotics. The device allowed the detection, the search, the analysis, the identification of the perpetrators and might lead to transactions for a total of 17,200 euros. 69 reports were drawn up for possession of narcotics and two for suspicion of sale. 68 cross-border procedures (immediate electronic transactions) were carried out.
203.53 grams of cannabis/marihuana were seized, along with 2 LSD, 39.54 grams of cocaine, 436 XTC pills, 20.92 grams of MDMA. 29.3 grams of cannabis resins, 40.8 grams of ketamine, 5.19 grams of mushrooms and 0.3 grams of heroin.
On the fire and red cross side, 1,829 entries to the advanced medical post were recorded. Since the beginning of the festival, 43 evacuations have been necessary. “The results of this fourth day are very positive, while it was the most important in terms of attendance”, we underline the side of the Hauts-Pays police zone.
