The man wanted by the police was known to the authorities for incidents of domestic violence because he had “imprisoned” her in a house in Didymoteicho and for a whole month brutally abused and raped her.
The 32-year-old, who has five children from a relationship with another partner, experienced terrifying moments at the hands of the perpetrator who is wanted in connection with the suicide. The man had locked her in a house in Didymoteicho, abusing her physically and sexually. He “imprisoned” the 32-year-old woman, who allegedly met her on the Internet, for a whole month, beating her and raping her.
“The only crime for which there is no forgiveness is treason,” he said in Turkish in a picture he posted on Facebook of two pistols and two female hands holding a rose.
“I bless the one who came to take my life, but my condolences if he can’t,” reads the caption of another image that the attacker uploaded to his profile.
The house where the victim was locked
The perpetrator was holding the 32-year-old prisoner in the house shown in the photo published by newsit.gr.
The unfortunate woman reported the perpetrator to the Didymoteicho Security Department last Friday morning (02.08.24), having obvious injuries on her body, face and hands.
Afterwards, he was transferred to Didymoteicho General Hospital, where he is being treated out of danger.
