The referee pair Kurtagic/Wetterwik will referee tonight (23 January) the match between Slovenia and Denmark in the last round of the main round group 2 in the EC. Denmark, like Sweden, is already ready for the semi-finals, while Slovenia needs to take one point more than Portugal to advance to the final weekend in Cologne and play placement matches there. If Slovenia loses, they are eliminated from this year’s EC.

The match will be played in the Barclay Arena, Hamburg with a kick-off time of 18:00, and will be the Swedish refereeing pair’s fourth match in this year’s European Championship, having officiated the championship’s opening match between France and North Macedonia on January 10th (39-29), one of the closing group stage matches in Group C on January 16 between Serbia-Montenegro (29-30) and Germany-Austria (22-22) in Group 1 of the main round on January 20.

The match is broadcast on TV10 and Viaplay.

Sweden has one match left to play in the main round, tonight they meet Norway. Sweden is already ready for the semi-finals as second in the group, while Norway has no chance of reaching the final weekend. Sweden will face group ten France on Friday in the semi-finals.

23 January: Norway–Sweden 20.30 (main round)
January 26: France-Sweden, time to be determined later, (semi-final)

All matches in the tournament are broadcast on Viaplay. All Sweden’s matches and a selection of other matches are broadcast on TV6. A selection of matches is also broadcast on TV3, TV10, Viaplay and V Sport Extra.
