The Marche-en-Famenne council chamber declared the public action extinguished in the case of the double feminicide of Nathalie Maillet and Ann-Lawrence Durviauxperpetrated on August 15, 2021 by Franz Dubois, we learned on Friday from the Luxembourg prosecutor’s office.
The order noting the extinction of the proceedings follows the death of the accused, Franz Dubois having killed himself immediately following the double feminicide.
On August 15, Franz Dubois killed his wife, Nathalie Maillet, director of the Spa-Francorchamps circuit, and Ann-Lawrence Durviaux, lawyer at the bar of Namur, before turning his gun once morest him.
The three protagonists had spent the evening together in a restaurant in Bastogne. Their lifeless bodies had been found in a house of the Dubois-Maillet couple in the town of Gouvy.
The criminal aspect of the case is now closed, said the Luxembourg prosecutor’s office on Friday. No one is a civil party.
