The Youth Academy’s football Saturday resulted in beautiful goals and, among other things, two derby wins for the Spartans once morest city rivals Feyenoord. The Spartans of O12 and trainer Melvin Zaalman will be in action once morest AZ on Sunday, kick-off at 12:00 (Sportpark Thurlede, PPSC).

Vitesse O13 – Sparta O13 (0-0)

In Arnhem, the O13 was allowed to compete once morest Vitesse O13 at the Papendal National Sports Center. No goals were scored throughout the match, meaning the scoreboard remained at 0-0 until the final whistle. Sparta O13 will also be in action on Sunday morning, when Zappsport Latjetrap starts with Sparta O13 at 8:40 am.

Feyenoord O14 – Sparta O14 (0-3)
Sparta O14 was preparing for the city derby at Varkenoord. Dominique de Bodt’s men brought Spartan fight and passion into the game, resulting in a 0-3 victory for the Spartans.

ADO Den Haag O15 – Sparta O15 (2-1)
After Sparta O15 fell behind 1-0 following just 2 minutes, Valentino Weibolt put the 1-1 on the scoreboard in minute 14. The first competition match of 2024 was exciting. In minute ’62 it is ADO that takes the lead once more. Sparta cannot answer that.

Sparta O16 – Feyenoord O16 (1-0)
Just like O14, the O16 also played a city derby once morest Feyenoord. The home game had an early lead for the Spartans when Dean Bell opened the score from a corner in minute 10. Afterwards, both teams continue to play football and look for more goals. There is no more scoring, which means that match winner Bell has an important share in the victory for coach Rziki’s men.

PVCV U17 – Sparta U17 (1-0)

Sparta O17 went to Vleuten for the first competition match of the second half of the season. PVCV O17 and Sparta O17 met at Sportpark Fletiomare Oost. The Spartans were surprised in the sixth minute when PVCV took the lead. Coach Hesselink’s men cannot regain that lead within the remaining playing time.

Sparta O18 – Cambuur Leeuwarden O18 (5-1)
Sparta O18 returned defeated from FC Twente/Heracles Academy last week. Now the O18 from Cambuur Leeuwarden came to visit for the home game at Sportpark Thurlede. After half an hour, Cambuur took the lead. Within two minutes Sparta answers with a goal. After halftime (1-1), Sparta increased the score to no less than 5-1.
