Dor Bahadur, 17, from Nepal, has been named the world’s shortest teenager by Guinness World Records. It is 73.43 cm (2 ft 4.9 in) high. The height of the door was measured by Guinness World Records on March 23 this year. Nepal Tourism Board CEO Dhananjay Regmi handed over the certificate to Dor Bahadur at a ceremony in Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal, in May.

Dore was born on November 14, 2004 in Sindhuli district, 123 km from Kathmandu. Dore’s brother Nara Bahadur said Dore had no problems at birth but did not grow up following the age of seven and did not know why. Nara also shared the joy of her brother getting the Guinness record. Dor is the youngest son of farming parents. She is currently studying at the Village School.

The previous record was held by Khagendra Thapa Magar, a native of Nepal. At 65.58 cm, Khagendra became the youngest man in the world at the age of 18. But he died in 2020 at the age of 27. Edward Hernandez, 37, is currently the youngest man in the world. He is 2 feet 4.39 inches (72.10 cm) tall.
