Doosan Robotics, a global collaborative robot manufacturer, has launched the NSF-certified collaborative robot ‘E-series’ specially designed for the food and beverage (F&B) industry.
Named for its technical ‘Edge’, the E-Series has the flexibility to create virtually any food and beverage while offering competitive pricing and safety and hygiene standards.
Doosan Robotics’ E-series recently received NSF (National Sanitation Foundation) certification for food hygiene safety with functions such as a sealed gap between the connecting robot shafts.
The E-series features reduced weight and slim design for easy installation. And with a 5kg payload and a reach of nearly 3 feet, it offers plenty of capacity to handle all your food tasks with ease.
A Doosan Robotics official explains that the E-series has been tested for a variety of applications, including the implementation of Robert Chicken, a Korean fried chicken concept powered entirely by cobots.
The E-series is developed by Doosan Robotics’ Dr. It has been tested and deployed for making coffee and other beverages through Presso.
Doosan Robotics plans to continue customizing the E-series for other F&B purposes such as baking, barbecue, and specialized functions within the QSR category.
Along with the launch of the E-series, Doosan Robotics will also unveil 13 new cobots with a wide range of product options, including the M, A and H-series, tailored to process performance and customers’ industrial needs.
“The E-series cobots are specially designed to transform the food and beverage industry, provide immediate solutions to labor shortages, and improve work efficiency,” said Junghoon Ryu, CEO of Doosan Robotics. I will lead the way,” he said.
