For a Canadian family of four, the bill for a visit to Disneyland Paris is $1,600, an exorbitant amount denounced by a father on TikTok.
Disney, “it’s a money-grabbing machine”, commented Mario Zelaya, in his TikTok video which has amassed more than 240,000 views.
The father of the family explained that a day at Disneyland Paris for him, his wife and his two sons cost him more than 1,200 American dollars, or 1,600 Canadian dollars.
“Why the hell would I do that?” he cried. Initially, the father of the family had ordered standard tickets at a cost of $163 for one person. On the other hand, he quickly realized that first class tickets avoid the queue. Mario therefore paid an additional $235.
“It’s crazy how Disney overflows…I made a huge mistake going to Disneyland Paris. I am embarrassed by the amount of money I spent on it,” he added.
The father also comments that if he hadn’t shelled out for the first class tickets, his family would have waited ‘over 25 hours’ to join the rides.
He noted that there were too many people on the site, so many that he wouldn’t recommend anyone to go to Disney. “Don’t go to Disney! It’s the biggest money-grabbing machine in the world,” the video reads.
Several users commented on Mario’s video supporting his facts. Some have written that it was not affordable at all and far too expensive for the wait time and the experience received.
