Donald Trump’s attacker had searched for Biden

An investigation by the United States Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) revealed that Thomas Matthew Crooksa 20-year-old who was identified as the attacker of former President Donald Trump on Saturday, July 13, also searched for current President Joe Biden and other senior government figures.

In addition to Trump and Biden, searches for Attorney General Merrick Garland and FBI Director Christopher Wray were found on his personal computer.

The search history also reveals that he inquired regarding the Democratic National Convention and Trump’s public appearances.

According to the report, Crooks planned the attack because Trump was scheduled to hold a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, 50 miles from his family home.

The search history is, so far, the closest thing to an explanation of Crooks’ motives for carrying out the attack. The FBI has set up a special hotline for anyone who might be able to provide any leads.

The weapon used

The gunman used an AR-15 rifle to shoot Donald Trump. It was owned by his father, Matthew Crooks, and was one of more than 20 firearms registered in his name. According to Pennsylvania State Police records, all of those weapons had been legally acquired and remained stored at the family home.
